Who doesn’t love a simple four ingredient recipes? Especially when its a no-bake recipe! These Oat balls are a tasty easy grab and go snack for the whole family. My husband me, and our toddler loved them!
The recipe is so easy my four year old helped out! I measured out the ingredients and he mixed them up. When cooking in the kitchen with kiddos I try to stay as mess free as possible. One tip I have picked up is to place a towel or wash cloth under the mixing bowl so it won’t move around on the counter.
These snacks can stay in the refrigerator for up to five days, but good luck making them last that long! The recipe makes about 20 balls and I think between the three of us they lasted less than three days! No shame here, they are that good.
I like the mix of the semi-sweet and butterscotch chips but feel free to cub in your own mix! You can change either out for mini M&Ms, milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips. Also you can do a 1/2 cup of chocolate chips instead of a mix.
Ingredients
1 c oats (rolled or quick)
1/2 c peanut butter
1/3 c maple syrup
1/4 c semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 c butterscotch chips
Directions
Mix together the oats peanut butter and the syrup in a mixing bowl. Then fold in the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 min. Scoop in a spoon and roll into a ball the size of a small bouncy ball. Separate with wax paper or parchment paper in a tupperware container and store in the fridge. Enjoy within five days!
