Fourth of July is coming up and these fruit kabobs are a perfect treat for any BBQ or party. They are red white and blue and very, very tasty! The recipe even comes with the video at the bottom for directions!
I love typical BBQ food like chips and dip, baked beans, potato salad, but I always want something bright and crisp. These fruit kabobs are perfect for that. With strawberries in season this is an obvious choice! I used blackberries because my family prefers them to blueberries, but you can you what you like. Maybe even both!
Drizzled with a little bit of white chocolate they are sweet and refreshing! Eat as a sweet snack or even for a light dessert! These will pair great for the Fourth of July with The Ultimate Grill Marinade!
Hope you and your family have a fun and safe Fourth of July! Let me know your favorite BBQ foods in the comments below!
Enjoy!♥
Fourth of July Fruit Kabobs
What you need:
Strawberries
Blackberries (or blueberries)
1/2 c white chocolate chips
Kabob sticks
Sandwich bag
Tall Glass
A foil covered cookie sheet
Directions:
- Cut the tops off of the strawberries. Alternate the berries on the kabob sticks. Line the finished kabobs on the foiled line cookie sheet.
- Once filled melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave. 30 seconds first, stir then in 10 second increments stirring in-between to avoid burning until smooth.
- Line the tall glass with the sandwich bag and spoon in the white chocolate.
- Snip the tip of the bag with scissors and drizzle white chocolate over the berry kabobs. Let dry for 10 minutes, then enjoy!
