Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is a beautiful beach city with clean sandy beaches, clear water, and AMAZING tequila tours. With a population of only a little over 70,000 it is a fairly small town but it has so much to do! We love it so much we have been 3 times now!
Where to Stay
When booking a trip to Cabo I would suggest booking an all-inclusive resort. Perks of an all inclusive? Unlimited alcohol, free food, and entertainment! It has everything you need without having to ever leave the resort.
If you’re looking to do the all-inclusive in Cabo I recommend the RIU. It is beautiful, clean, and has amazing service. We have stayed at a few other places as well but this is by far our favorite!
Best Food & Drink
The Mango Deck – This is our number one favorite place to get drinks in Cabo! There is always entertainment and the service is amazing. If you’re lucky you will watch some fun drinking games on stage!
Right in front of the Mango Deck are beach chairs for your enjoyment! If you spend $20 per person the beach chairs are free with your purchase of food!
The Office – Another one of our favorites, if you catch it while its open! This bar is so fun and has the best food and drink! And when you stay there late just tell your family you’re at the office!
The Sand Bar – Just a little ways down the beach is our third favorite place to stop and get food & drink. The Sand Bar has tables righting the sand where you can dig your toes in while enjoying your meal!
Excursions for the Whole Family
Deep Sea Fishing – My favorite excursion we have done in Cabo is going deep sea fishing! We went with a group of 7 and caught 5 fish! Two of the fish were large Marlins that provided pounds of meat.
We found our fisherman by walking along the marina until we met the nicest group of guys! Honestly, we have heard great things about all the hosts there. So just ask around until you find the right guide for you!
Snorkeling – Another activity we loved was snorkeling! We saw so much amazing ocean life. It was beautiful! I cannot recommend this enough when you are in Cabo San Lucas.
Paddle boarding / kayaking – Anytime I am in water I want to be on a paddle board. There is nothing like experiencing this in the ocean! We did this with friends and everyone had an absolute blast.
Whale Watching – Okay, now if you’re lucky you can see the most beautiful creatures in the sea! We have been lucky enough to see whales twice now! I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world.
The Cabo Arch – One of the most beautiful sights in Cabo is the arch! If you are in Cabo San Lucas and don’t see the Cabo arch did you even to to Cabo? There are many excursions that include a boat ride to the arch and I suggest you do at least one!
There are so many more things to do in Cabo, but these are a few of my favorites! If you haven’t already been to Cabo San Lucas, what are you waiting for?!
Always adventure,
Looks like such an awesome trip! I’ve never been but really want to go! The whale watching and paddle boarding look so fun!
