How was your month of August? Did you get to see this eclipse? In Eugene we could see it at 96% totality!
We have been so crazy busy with vacations this summer, especially in July, so for the month of August, we elected to take it easy and stay home.
Staying home made me think of all the places in Oregon I have yet to see. My husband and I tend to not stay in one place for very long, I think while living in Denver for five years we lived in four different cities! This made me come up with my Oregon Bucket List! A list filled with all the sites I want to see, things I want to do, and places I want to visit.
Have you been to Oregon before and done something on my bucket list? I would love to know what you thought! Let me know in the comments below!
-Enjoy!♥

Oregon is my favorite state in the country. My favorite things to do when we are here are to go to Powell’s City of Books in Portland, eat fresh cheese at the Tillamook factory, camp in Cannon Beach by the Haystack Rock, and hike through the Oneidea Gorge!
We have been dying to go to Tillamook!
Crater Lake and Monmouth Falls look stunning! I think I need a trip to Oregon.
Oregon has been on my bucket list to travel to for years now. I love the NW, especially Washington state so I need to make this happen!

I had heard Oregon was beautiful, but I recently got a chance to see it for myself a few months ago. But it was just driving through, I can imagine the parks, like Crater Lake are stunning and hope to see it for myself one day.
I drove through oregon and wanted to stay soooo bad!
The photo of Multnomah Falls! I visited Portland last fall, and the falls, and Crown Point were my two favorite naturals. They were the two most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

The lake looks gorgeous! Looks like it will make a great family trip!
It is amazing what is in your own “backyard” when you start to think about. The children’s museum sounds interesting.
I’m giddy over this list because I live just a bit north of you in Oregon! This is a great list of ideas for a fun day 🙂 I too have been curating my own Oregon TO-DO List.
I hope you enjoy this list as much as I do!
We often drive through Oregon on our way to Yakima to visit family and love to stop for a day on the way 🙂 We’ll definitely have out some of these on our next trip!

I love this idea! I need to make a bucket list for our area, too!
I grew up in Oregon. One of my favorite places is this tiny zo/santuary next to the wildlife safari. Last time o got to hold a baby monkey and snow leopard. Enchanted forest theme park is weird as heck but fun too.
Oregon and Washington St are on the top of our bucket list. I cannot wait to see the beautiful landscapes there. Thanks for the ideas of what sites to see when in Oregon!
These photos are BEAUTIFUL! I am so excited to visit Oregon. I haven’t been, but I’ll be visiting St. Helens next month for the Halloweentown festival!

This is a great list !!! One day when we make it to the USA ….
This list is great! I am always on the lookout for things to do in each state. We are hitting the road full-time in November and hoping to spend at least a month in Oregon. I am itching to see Monmouth Falls. It looks like Narnia!
Oregon is beautiful! I’m so jealous you will be on the road full time. Check out my other two posts on travels around Oregon for more ideas!
I’ve been wanting to visit Oregon for awhile but I probably won’t be going until next year now… looks like you’re making great progress on your bucket list!
I’m working on it for sure! Hoping to check off a few more before the end of 2017!
Thiss looks like so much fun!
Beautiful – and tons of things for the kids to do!
I am going to have to put it on my list of places to visit!
Oregon is such a kid friendly state! I hope you can make it here with your kiddos!
I LOVE Oregon! I have only visited once but, during that visit I saw so many beautiful things. I can’t wait to go again!
I hope you can make it back one day to explore even more!
I never been in Oregon but i hope it will be on my travel list soon 🙂 thanks for sharing
You’re welcome! I hope you can make it here one day.
Somehow I have never thought of Oregon as a vacation spot but your post makes it look great! Beautiful pictures, and so much to do!
There is so much I probably don’t even know about! So many hidden beauties here!
This is such a great idea! We move around every couple years with the military and I definitely need to make a bucket list because when we were in TN we didn’t take advantage of the opportunities there.
Thats what started my bucket list! We lived in Denver for five years and didn’t take advantage of what was there or what was near us. I don’t want to make that mistake twice! You are so lucky to move every couple of years and really get to explore! Take advantage of it while you can!
I’ve never been to Oregon, but it’s in my bucket list. The views are amazing! Xoxo
It is such a beautiful state!
I have not to any of the places on your bucket list, but I think I will add them to my bucket list. Monmouth Falls looks beautiful!
Doesn’t it look gorgeous!? Unfortunately it caught on fire a few weeks ago, some kids with fireworks. Very sad. But I have seen pictures since and it still is beautiful.
Thanks for the tips! I definitely want to visit USA one day. I’m just waiting on the flight prices to drop 😛 Crater lake looks amazing!
Flights are crazy expensive this summer! Where are you located?
